Root Development

healthy root system attracts colonies of microorganisms, such as these nitrogen fixing, bacteria–forming, nitrogen nodules on the roots.

The root system of a plant plays a critical role in plant health and growth. Root development is benefitted in several ways when you get your soil to come to life with our program.

First, roots can develop faster in the loose, aerated, nutrient rich topsoil we've been talking about, and they grow deeper with better moisture penetration and retention. This larger and deeper root system can transpire more effectively and nutrient uptake is maximized.

Respiration is also more effective–this is the process by which the plant sends sugars and enzymes to the root system in order to signal surrounding microorganisms concerning the nutrient needs of the plant.

In addition to this, a healthy root system attracts colonies of microorganisms, such as nitrogen fixing bacteria that form nitrogen nodules on the roots and myccorizhae to protect against harmful nematodes, resulting in a well protected root system and a well taken care of plant.

This healthy, well protected, deep root system will be able to provide water and nutrients to your plant more effectively—especially during dry periods.

Combine the benefits of deep roots, pure topsoil, and the nutrients foliar fed to your plants when you apply our products, and your plants have a great opportunity to maximize their growth and production.
Maximizing Growth

When a root system becomes well established in this way, the plant itself grows quickly and safely.

Combine the benefits if these deep roots in pure topsoil with the nutrients provided in the foliar feed that your plants get each time you apply The Carbon Answer® and you are really maximizing the growth of your plants.

This gives them the best possibility to reach their full genetic potential, a large plant with large healthy leaves and stems.

In addition, this will provide for maximum seed production or fruiting when the time comes–and that time will be after the plant has fully grown.

You can expect the same maximum growth from the seeds or fruit produced. The best part is that healthy crops like this can be produced year after year because you are always improving your situation.

Healthier crops result when no oxygen deficiencies exist during the reproductive stage.
The Reproductive Stage

A critical point in the life of a plant is the reproductive stage.

This is where it blossoms and produces fruit or seeds in order to keep the species going. An optimum balance of energy is necessary at this point because of extra demands.

Often there isn't enough energy provided to plants to maximize production at this important stage.

Oxygen deficiencies contribute to less than full production and the plant becomes a little weaker, a little more vulnerable.

Our products help to alleviate this as the application of The Carbon Answer® which contains Mineral Electrolyte helps to eliminate these
deficiencies and keep your plants healthy right on
through this stage and up to harvest time.

Perennial Crops

One of the great benefits that can be seen while using our program is in the harvesting of perennial crops, like alfalfa.

As you develop a good balance with pure topsoil and active microorganisms, you will see several things that make a difference for these crops. Here are a few.

You get more and deeper roots. Along with this you have better water penetration and retention.

Your plants need to draw less water to get the needed nutrients, and you have billions of microorganisms responding to the needs of each plant.

This results in way less stress for your plants, especially during a harvest. Plants won't dry out as much, and instead will begin growing back rapidly and have a good start by the time you have the hay off the field.

Less stress also means that you have crops healthy enough to resist insect pressure that could otherwise be devastating. This results in better crops that take less water and less time to grow.
